What threading does
A stylist twists a length of 100% organic cotton thread and rolls it across the skin, lifting each hair out at the follicle. Nothing is applied to your skin. No resin, no heat, nothing that peels.
Because the thread catches a line of hair at a time, the shape stays under control. Your stylist maps the brow to your face first, then works line by line for a clean edge. That precision is why brows are the most common threading request.
What waxing does
The area is cleansed and prepped, warm wax goes on in the direction the hair grows, and it comes away against the grain so the whole section clears at once.
Speed is the advantage. A half leg or a full arm would take a long time to thread, and wax clears it in a pass. Every dip uses a fresh applicator, so no spatula goes back into the pot after it has touched skin.
How to choose
Start with the size of the area. Threading is precise and slow, which suits brows, upper lip, chin, cheeks, and the rest of the face. Waxing covers ground, which suits arms, legs, underarms, back, and the bikini line.
Then consider how your skin behaves. Threading never touches the skin, so there is nothing to lift or irritate. If you use retinoids or acids, or your skin flushes easily, threading is the safer choice on the face.
On the face the prices sit close together. Eyebrow threading is $12 and an eyebrow wax is $15. A full face is $45 threaded and $55 waxed. Where a price carries a +, the listed amount is a starting point, and chin, under chin, and neck can run higher depending on how much hair there is to clear.

Walk-ins are welcome for threading and standard waxing at all three studios. Facials, body scrubs, and detailed henna are worth booking ahead.
